Our silicone stove pipe ring (G) has a Velcro flap to close out the weather when not in use. We recommend the stove hole be located on a side wall. This minimizes leaking, wind damage (The stove pipe can pull out due to up and down motion of the roof canvas) and allows a simple Fly installation. This sidewall location is standard on our Centennial Tent line.
