A SUSTAINABLE SHELTER

You care about the environment, and so do we! Yurts are an affordable, earth-friendly alternative to traditional houses. The yurt is constructed on a platform, which leaves a smaller footprint on the land than other housing options. After you take down the yurt, the vegetation usually grows back within a matter of months. Rainier is the only yurt company in the world to have a formal environmental management system in place. We strive to constantly reduce our environmental impact and take pride in building products that are produced using sustainable materials. We use wood harvested only from sustainable forests and treat it with non-solvent preservatives.
